The Philippine Department of Tourism-Los Angeles is in need of transportation services (vehicles rental and drivers) during the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) 2025

I. Background
The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) will be participating and promoting film tourism in the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF)2025 from 02 to 08March 2025 at the TCL Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
II. Objectives
The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT)needs the services of a transportation providerand licensed driver in the USA for the delegates to the MIFF 2025and other event-related activitiesin Los Angeles, CA. This is to ensure seamless and smooth implementation of the said project including the conduct of side activities.
III. Capability Requirements
- Must be a registered business or licensed(in the case of a driver) in the USA;
- Must be able to provide vehicles for rent, driver services,andinsurance coverage;
- Must be operating in the business orpossessing a license (in the case of a driver)for at least 5 years;
- Must be able to provide the requirements based on the deliverables stated herein.
IV. Deliverables
- Car Rental
- 2 units of vans with a seating capacity of at least eight (8) passengers with luggage space.
- 1 unit of SUV with a seating capacity of at least seven (7) passengers with luggage space, preferably with captain seats.
- Inclusive dates: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8March 2025 (Van#1).
- Inclusive dates: 5, 6, 7, and 8 March 2025 (Van #2 and SUV).
- Place of service: Greater Los Angeles, CA (including nearby areas).
- Use of vehicles for at least eight (8) hours per day. Excess/overtime shall be billed based on actual usage in excess ofeight (8) hours.
- All vehicles should be road-worthy, registered, fully insured, clean, and must be properly maintained daily.
- Service provider shall submit daily trip tickets.
- Driver Services
- Services of three (3) licensed drivers who shall be responsible for the pick-up, return, driving, and maintaining cleanliness of the rented vehicles.
- Dates of service: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8March 2025 (Driver 1).
- Dates of service:5, 6, 7, and 8March 2025 (Drivers2 & 3).
- Place of service: Greater Los Angeles, CA (and nearby areas)
- Shall render services for at least eight (8) hours per day. Overtime pay shall be billed based on the actual hours of services rendered in excess ofeight (8) hours at $43.75 per hour
- Must be familiar with the routes and locations in the itinerary to be provided by DOT at least one (1) week prior to the dates of service.
- Shall submit daily trip tickets.
V. Contract Duration
The contract duration is from 02 to 10March 2025.
VI. Budget
The budget allocation for the above project is Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-four US Dollars and 85/100 (USD16,954.85),inclusive of vehicle rental, driver services,insurance, fuel, overtime fees, parking fees, congestion fees, driver’s meals, taxes, tips, and other applicable fees.
The winning quotation will be based on the lowest proposed bid price and compliance to the required specification of the services requested, and payment shall be based on actual hours rendered.
VII. Payment Procedure and Billing Details
Payment shall be processed upon the submission of the invoice, trip ticket, original signed contract and other supporting documents as may be required.
