Film Tourism Promotion at the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) 2025

TERMS OF REFERENCE

The Philippine Department of Tourism-Los Angeles (PDOT LA) is in need of the services of an Event Management Company for the film tourism promotion during the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) 2025 to be held in Hollywood, California on March 4-7, 2025.

I. Background

The Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT), through its Los Angeles Office, will participate in the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) 2025 curated press conference and tribute dinner/closing gala. PDOT will also set-up a lounge/booth at the TCL Theater lobby to promote filming in the Philippines on March 4-7, 2025.

II. Objectives

  • To promote and support the development of film tourism in the Philippines
  • To gain international recognition
  • To attract more producers to film in the  Philippines

III. Capability Requirements

  1. Must be registered and licensed to do business in the USA;
  2. Must be operating in the business of event management for at least 3 years;
  3. Must be able to provide the deliverables stated herein;
  4. Must be flexible on payment terms

IV. Deliverables

  1. Film Tourism Lounge/Booth at the TCL Theater Lobby (8x10x8(h) ft)
    • Design and fabrication
    • Installation and dismantling
    • High-quality graphics printing
    • Flooring (carpet or flex)
    • Counter with lockable storage
    • TV screen (at least 42” HD)
    • Rattan furniture (seats and center table)
    • Accents made of Philippine local materials
  2. Giveaways
    • Canvas tote bags (100 pcs) with Love the Philippines logo full-color print on one side
    • Brochures printing (1,000 copies) (artwork to be provided by PDOT)
    • Roll-up banners (6 units) (artwork to be provided by PDOT)
  3. AVP Production (30 sec to 1 min. without voice over) (materials to be provided by PDOT)

VI. Budget

The total budget allocation for the above project is Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty US Dollars (US$40,950.00)inclusive of taxes, delivery charges, and all applicable fees.

The winning quotation will be based on the lowest proposed bid price and compliance with the required specification of the deliverables.

VII. Payment Procedure and Billing Details

Payment shall be processed upon presentation of invoice and supporting documents. Partial payment up to 50% of total contract amount and remaining balance no earlier than March 10, 2025.
