V. BACKGROUND
The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) will be participating in Seatrade Cruise
Global 2024 from April 8 to 11, 2024. The event features a three-day trade exhibition and a multi-track conference program headlined by the industry’s most knowledgeable speakers.
VI. PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES
The DOT-Legislative Liaison Unit needs the services of a licensed transportation services provider based in Florida,USA that can provide the transport service requirements of Congressional Participants to the Seatrade Cruise Global 2024 and other event-related activities. This is to ensure a seamless and smooth implementation of the above project including the conduct of side activities.
VII. CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a transportation company registered in Florida, USA with duly licensed drivers, insurance, safety and other motor vehicle requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in providing the required services
- Must be able to provide the requirements based on the deliverables stated herein
VIII. DELIVERABLES
Period of Service: 07 to 12 April 2024
Start of Service: 07 April 2024
Type of Vehicle: Van
Total of Two (2) vans- whole day service of ten (10) hours per day
*Excess/Overtime will be based on actual hours rendered after ten (10) hours
All vehicles should be road-worthy, licensed, insured, clean and must be properly maintained daily. Drivers should be licensed andin proper dress code for the duration of the service and should be familiar with the local routes and destinations.
Detailed schedule of daily reporting/schedule shall be provided after the contract/conforme is signed.
IX. CONTRACT DURATION
The above service contract duration is from 07 to 12 April 2024.
X. BUDGET
The budget allocation for the required services is USD766.67/unit/day (first 10 hours of service inclusive of inclusive of all applicable fees parking fees, driver fees, congestion fees, driver meals, gasoline and taxes, if applicable.
An additional USD76.67 per hour is allocated for the excess hours beyond the 10-hour period rate will be applied (maximum of 3 hours per day or a total of 18 hours for the duration of the service)
The winning quotation will be based on the lowest proposed bid price and compliance to the required specification of the requested services.
XI. PAYMENT PROCEDURE AND BILLING DETAILS
Payment shall be processed upon the submission of the invoice, trip ticket, original signed contract and other supporting documents as may be required.
