The Philippine Department of Tourism-San Francisco Office is hiring one (1) part-time Marketing and Administrative Assistant. Engagement and contract are on a monthly basis.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be a US citizen, permanent resident or lawful resident, and has legal status to work in the U.S.;
- Must be at least a college graduate with a degree related to marketing, project management, tourism management, and the like;
- Proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge in Filipino language is an advantage;
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks;
- Digitally literate with working knowledge / experience in cloud-based collaboration tools and related applications;
- Preferably with experience related to marketing and administrative-related work. Experience in working with other National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) or tourism-related industries is an advantage
Scope and Work Deliverables
- Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of PDOT San Francisco programs and projects
- Assist during on-site events (in or outside the office)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual office accomplishment and administrative reports
- Conduct research and prepare periodic reports on USA and Canada markets, statistics, travel trends, and market updates
- Organize and manage office database and contacts
- Draft and send official correspondences such as memos, letters, and media releases
- Coordinate with stakeholders, media, and travel trade partners such as tour operators and airlines, on various projects, activities and events
- Attend official functions and events outside the office
- Facilitate answering incoming marketing inquiries
- Prepare project proposals, reports, presentations, and information materials, as needed
- Assist in digital marketing of PDOT-USA in various platforms including website, social media, newsletters, etc., as needed
- Treat all information handled with confidentiality
Working Hours
Minimum of 16 hours per week to a maximum of 24 hours per week. Meal and rest breaks will be in accordance with the California labor law.
Payment Terms
Remuneration of $25.00 per hour of service rendered paid every after full month of service upon submission of Daily Time Record, Daily Task Record, and Monthly Accomplishment Report.
