The easiest way to get to Boracay is to fly into Caticlan Airport from Manila, then take a boat to the island. But Caticlan’s airstrip can only take so many flights.
Other options include flying to Kalibo Airport, Roxas City Airport, Evelio Javier Airport and Iloilo International Airport from Manila, Cebu or any major Asian country, take a van bus to the town of Caticlan, then take a boat to Boracay. There aren’t any direct boats from other islands but you may take a Roro or Fastcraft from Batangas, Roxas (Mindoro) or Bulalacao (Mindoro).
As long as you’re staying on White Beach, you’re fine with just your feet. Stations 1, 2 and 3 are all walkable. But if you plan to explore the inner island or the back side of the beach, then it’s best to hire a tricycle. Bigger hotels will provide shuttles. Bikes and motorcycles are also available for rent.
